Charlotte Weber was raised on the north side of Detroit and grew to appreciate fiber arts from watching her grandmother crochet. Her enthusiasm for fiber arts grew and by school age, she had become a promising young artist, having developed a variety of technique, including knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Spare moments were devoted to honing her skills in anticipation of one day having the opportunity to share this passion with others.
Charlotte completed a bachelors’ of arts in fibers and since moving to Arizona has focused her studio work on how nature and fibers can be interwoven to develop a sense of serenity. Her work highlights the vibrancy of nature while maintaining a harmonic balance. She seeks to develop a sense of peacefulness while allowing the observer to conjure new thoughts of their own.
An active teacher in fiber arts, Charlotte is continuously developing new courses, patterns, and study materials with a special focus on weaving and knitting.
