Charlotte Weber was raised on the north side of Detroit and grew to have an appreciation of the fiber arts at a very young age while watching her grandmother crochet by the fire place in the evening. As time passed, her enthusiasm for the fiber arts grew and by school age, she had become a promising young artist, having mastered a variety of skills, including knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Every spare moment became devoted to honing her skills in anticipation of one day having the opportunity to share this passion with others.
In hopes of furthering her childhood dreams, she chose to pursue a bachelors’ of arts in fibers and since moving to Arizona has become interested in learning how nature and fibers can be interwoven to develop a sense of tranquility and serenity. Her work focuses on bringing out the vibrancy of nature while maintaining a perfect balance of harmony and simplicity. She seeks to develop a sense of peacefulness in her work while allowing the observer to conjure an image of their own.
